Garden Road, Cushman Road Wetlands, Swallowtail Butterfly

Dear Readers, Residents,

After all the rain we had just yesterday, I wanted to see Cushman Road.

A lady, Lyn Brodie of Hartsdale Avenue, was walking her dog and she offered the following words:

Watch the video here: Click on the link below, which will take you to the Youtube video I uploaded:

She said there were bunnies, deer, turkeys on and around the property that she sees all the time.

She has seen wetland properties developed in Yorktown for example which ended up with terrible results. She suggested the property be conserved forever. All this concrete and asphalt is not making us better human beings, she offered. She is a teacher and has grown up in the area.

I took some pictures there Friday morning:

Does not look like a paper road to me...

Puddles and water visible, on surface...

Site of pool and perimeter
Cotton tail on the property

Pipe ....

Slate roof and architectural detail on home on the property

The only acceptable use of this property is that it be preserved and conserved forever. We have to end the land abuse that has been rampant in this town, now !
