Dear Readers,
I hope you know there is a very interesting event sponsored by the Friends of Scarsdale Parks http://www.friendsofscarsdaleparks.org today at the Woman's Club from 2-5 p.m.
- They will be giving away free bare root native trees ready to plant,
- Cornell Extension members will be answering your gardening questions,
- Sale of vegetable and flower seedlings by the Scarsdale high-school sustainable garden,
- Dedication ceremony of the white oak in front of the Woman's Club to mark the Heriatge Tree Project of the FOSP and, of course
- Lecture by Nina Bassuk of Cornell University.
Please support this vital environmental group: attend their meetings and provide financial support and volunteer in their projects.
