Scarsdale Woman's Exchange Moving !!!

Great news !!!

Scarsdale Woman's Exchange is moving from its present location to Harwood Court street level location, the former "Green with Envy" store location. The present location requiring a couple of steps for access, was not very convenient. Hence, not too much foot traffic. I hope the new location will mean much more business for them and the ladies who work there.

I ran into the Exchange's President and her sister last week, who gave me the news. I suggested, the land lord owner of Scarsdale Improvement Rush Wilson must be treating them rent free. They did not say that was the case. Wouldn't it be nice though, Mr. Rush Wilson ?

Just the right thing for this gentleman who has often praised this community and said " Scarsdale has been good to us "....

The new location, just down the street:

Real Estate Market Update

A recent search on Realtor.com revealed the following:

There are 53 houses for sale in the No max-  $ 3M range

               227 houses for sale in the $ 2.9  M- $ 1M range,

               94 houses for sale in the $ .999 M- 0

The most expensive house on the market for sale is now 15 Richbell for $ 8.5 M.

Corner house on Stonehouse, 26-28 Stonehouse Road

Here we go, going up on Stonehouse Road.

On Fox Meadow Road

All three houses below on Fox Meadow Road very close to each other: 130-150 Fox Meadow Road.

This below probably 148 Fox Meadow. Can't say for sure, since no numbers yet.

In the picture below there are two houses being built close to each other - build to the max !

Above is another take on the situation. Don't you think the kids on the second floor will be able to play ball from one house to the other ?... Thank you BAR, thank you VB, thank you Planning, ZBA.

On Crane Road

On Crane Road an existing house is getting a second storey. No reason to destroy.

Renovate and update instead. Thank goodness. Have been seeing more of these lately...

Great  location !

2-4 Weaver Street, Garden Road, Edgewood Road and an updated new style for Scardale

The brick and stones on stucco, the new style...

The power lines above: To bury or not to bury...

And at 28 Garden Road

This below on Edgewood Road, possibly 3 Edgewood Road.  Hard to tell, since it is being built and no number on the house yet.

I must say I like this style. However, we still have to work with house size relative to lot size.
House too big. There is a second card garage at the back.

I suppose it will be for storage. Can't imagine a car backing out of there. A motorcycle, yes. Though  I cringe upon the notion.

Corner House: Tunstall and Bell Roads in Edgewood

Another example of corner houses too big for their lots...
