18 Heathcote Road - Still building...
Here you are, 18 Heathcote a.k.a. the 16 unit condominium from the Bronx...
You could even say the 60 unit condominium unit "Affordable" housing project...
Can you see the man with the red shirt on the scaffolding on the left ? Gives you an idea of the scale...
Hard to believe our " Wonderful" government system is not only allowing this but doing nothing to prevent any future monsters of the kind... Talk about denial... Freud is turning over in his grave.
(No, turning over. Turns out he was cremated at Golders Green Crematorium in London. Thank you Wikipedia !)
If the top three floors were taken down, it would still be huge...
Who knows may be I do not know everything...
This is one developer's ode to Scarsdale, as he puts another mansion he built on the auction block.
Anyone for a bargain that is now listed at $ 6 Mil. plus ? At one point it was $ 10 Mil. plus.
Check out 28 Garden Road. Taxes estimated at only $ 122,000. Auction October 26th.

Copyright Law and Public Domain Issues in Architecture and in Scarsdale...
Just like after a certain time, depending on quite a few variables, a certain piece of literature falls into public domain for anyone's use, in the same way a certain building designed and built becomes the property of the citizens of its immediate city it is situated in as well as the property of the world.
Thus, the property owner's wishes and whims or claims of hardship are totally inconsequential and immaterial. Just like you cannot desecrate a Picasso in a public location, same goes for a Collette in Scarsdale, or any other house built in Scarsdale that has stood there for 60 plus years...
It is time we valued our houses and our environment and took care of our buildings, our roads, our trees. Destruction, demolition and desecration does no one good.
Even the short sighted developer...
